He is an external faculty member of Laser and Laser Liposuction in the Master's Programme of Cosmetics, University of San Marino and La Sapienza in Rome
He obtained the University Diploma in Mini-Invasive Surgery, Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg

Dr. Roberto Dell'Avanzato is the Medical Director of the Department of Medico Espace Chenot Health Wellness & Spa - L'Albereta Relais & Chateaux and Teacher and Tutor for practical courses in laser, filler, stitches, peeling and other procedures of cosmetic medicine and surgery.

Dr. Dell'Avanzato is an international reference on the Endolift Laser methodology, who, since 2005, has personally developed it and has the largest number of cases published. He has published 312 articles, videos and abstracts on plastic and cosmetic surgery, laser, thoracic and abdominal surgery and Mini-Invasive surgery. He has attended over 200 courses and 400 international conferences. He has been a Visitor Surgeon in over 30 countries around the world

Dr. Dell'Avanzato participated in 4 humanitarian missions with "SmileAgain ONLUS" and "Depilex SmileAgain Foundation" during which he performed numerous surgical and laser treatments for the acidified victims of the Indian sub-continent (Pakistan and Bangladesh) and achieved the Certificate of Excellence, awarded by the Pakistan Association of Medics for Humanitarian Services to the Acid Victims of Pakistan

He also holds the Certificate of Merit conferred by the Combined Military Hospital in Islamabad (Pakistan) for humanitarian services rendered to the country and is the winner of the TYCO Best Video Award for "Laparoscopic Resection of Colorectal Cancer by Radiofrequency Dissector" at the unique instrument of dissection, Haemostasis and Cutting" at the 106th Congress of the National Society of Surgery - Rome, 17-20 October, 2004
